“To the Batmobile”

15 Jul

After me and Berta’s adventure today, I am curious to know how many times Batman has to say “to the Batmobile” a day. Hands down Berta and I said it more in one day than Batman has.

After plastering ourselves with makeup and putting on the day to day get up, Berta and I headed out.

“To the Batmobile!”

As grandpa said “the mall is where the woman is,” it was a day of shopping (or so we thought). We went into Old Navy and picked out some pretty cute things. We went to pay for it, and split it up. I paid for the cheap stuff and Berta would pay for the expensive stuff (I have financial problem, called being a teenage girl and blowing money on nothin). When Berta went to pay for the items, she didn’t have her wallet! Then I swiped my debit card. “Um…your debit card has been denied.” ….Awkward…

“To the Batmobile!”

We headed to the care center, aka the “hangout spot” and visited Grandpa and Grandma. After explaining our “Free shopping” experience we headed home.

“To the Batmobile!”

When we arrived home we got a call from the hospital. They wanted to hear some more of Grandpa’s jokes so…

“To the Batmobile!”

We chatted in the waiting room, then watched some gory t.v. show in the E.R. (ironic) and then it was time for lunch.

“To the Batmobile.”

We went to our favorite five star restaurant, Starbucks, and ate and then went to Bath and Body Works. After we finished there…

“To the Batmobile!”

We went to the Dollar Store and found some dieting pills for only $1! Amazing!

“To the Batmobile!”

We were in Fred Meyers. Forgetting what we were there for, we walked slowly around the store. People were obviously staring…we looked like blonde zombies walking in circles, finding the sour cream and cheese.

“To the Batmobile!”

We got to the house and the house was locked. We found out the hiding spot and came inside. Grandpa got home minutes later and wanted some corn on the cob and cherries.

“To the Batmobile!”

Pick up Grandpa’s forgotten items at the “hangout spot”

“To the Batmobile!”

“To the Batmobile!”

We have finally arrived home, on call at all hours. I now see why Batman has retired….
